THIRD MOON - Barrel Aged Kills

Barrel Aged Kills starts with our 5.2% Czech style pilsner that's brewed with pilsner malt and Saaz hops.

After primary fermentation in stainless, we aged this beer in second-use Chardonnay barrels for 6 months.

We use the barrels as a way to further soften the beer while adding complexity. The crusty bread vibes from the pilsner still shine through but are elegantly softened with juicy notes of apricot, vanilla, pear and oak.
